If you don’t have much time and still want to experience the beautiful countryside just outside of Luang Prabang, our 1 Day Tour is perfect for you: You will see our amazing jungle gardens, hike up the mountain and enjoy the stunning view from Phuphangam Mountain on to the surrounding mountains, support local farmers during a farming activity and taste delicious Lao Food. If you have some more time to spare, please consider joining our 2 or 3 Day Tour!
1 Day Tour​
Itinerary
We pick you up at the Hotel at 8AM. From here, we travel by Tuktuk to Pak Ou. A boat brings us over the Mekong to Ban Mouang Keo, where we have a delicious local lunch in our beautiful jungle gardens. Our local guides are happy to show you the organic veggies and fruits we cultivate here. And of course you’re welcome to try!
From Ban Mouang Keo, we trek up to Phuphangam Mountain (2-3hrs trek) after lunch. On the way up, we explore the rice fields and join the farmers for an activity (depending on the season). You can also enjoy the beautiful view over the neighboring valleys and mountains before heading down.
From Ban Mouang Keo, we head back to Luang Prabang by Tuktuk. Arrival Time in Luang Prabang at around 6.30 PM.

Our Activities
Please be aware that farming activities change according to the seasons. You will have the chance to experience different farmer‘s activities at different times of the year: rice and vegetable planting or harvesting, handicrafts like weaving of roof panels, indigo dyeing, basket weaving, etc.
